This story was so freaking cute! Every Everland story that I read makes me fall in love with the town a little more. This one is about Rose Red and Bear. When Bear is shot by a gang of outlaws, he stumbles into Rose's barn to hide. She finds him and helps with his wounds. She is convinced that he's an outlaw himself, and is both planning on turning him in once he's better and simultaneously using him to learn about adventures for her writing. She didn't plan to fall for the guy. She's been pressured by her mother to get married to a "perfect" blonde man (who doesn't exist). Her step-sister, Snow White, tells her that she needs to get married and leave. The story is just as enchanting as all the others, and the whimsy of seeing other characters from childhood reappearing will make you feel connected (Mr. B.G. Foote had me laughing for his name alone). I do wish there had been more to the story, especially seeing the couple with their interactions, instead of glossing over it all with a generic statement. But I may be just wanting to spend so much time in Everland that no amount of action-filled pages will ever be enough.Product details

I love this series....the way the Author has made them more realistic but kept the fairy tales aspect, I loved the "fairy godmother" such an awesome part of the story.
These books by Caroline Lee are some of the best stories I've read in a long time. Just enough suspense to keep you wanting to read until you are done. Very enjoyable!
Such a sweat story. Roses adventurous mind and her way with words makes thus a grat read. The fairy tail twist makes it so much better. Love can concur and do so much between two people and dreams can come true.
This is A sweet retelling of Rose Red and "Bear". These two are some of my favorite characters in this series.
The heroine, Rose tries to support her mother and sister by writing short stories, but thinks she needs to understand the "criminal mind." So, when she finds a wounded man in the barn, she assumes he is a criminal, but he is a US Marshall. She falls in love with this "criminal" and is torn between her love and her duty.
The writing is refreshing and the characters well crafted.
Dreamy fairy tale romance...Caroline Lee has done it again! Each book in the Everland Ever After series transports you somewhere between Everland and Wonderland--Rose Red is no exception! I adored the grouchy "Bear" in this story and Rose is a heroine who isn't going to be deterred from her dreams. Definitely recommend!
This series is SO wonderful! You want to keep turning the pages as Caroline takes you on a fantastic journey and than you find yourself at the end and don't want it to stop! The characters come alive and you are right there in the story with them. A happy ever after book filled with sweet clean romance and leaves your heart happy and wanting more. Do yourself a big favor and read this book. I can hardly wait for the next one to follow in the Everland Ever After books. Caroline is a VERY gifted author, she never disappoints!
